This page illustrates the usual layout of Bob's PA equipment which Bob will bring. If the performance is at floor level, a floor area of 4m x 3m is required. Bob moves about during his performance! And although the speakers output will be set to a comfortable volume it is better not to have anyone sitting very close to it.

If there is separate amplification in the hall/theatre then Bob will need DI lines - for the electric piano and a roving radio microphone. He also needs a foldback speaker on the stage/platform. And someone on hand to set up and operate the sound system during the performance, including sound checks before the performance begins.
